GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this 1971 Chevrolet C-20 Longhorn pickup for consideration. This beautiful Chevy Pickup is finished in a light blue and white exterior paint and presents exceptionally well after receiving a full professional detail. The chrome trim and bumpers are also in good condition and all of the correct emblems appear to be holding up good and in their correct locations. The exterior is accompanied by a snazzy finished interior, a grey and black bench seat that is showing to be in good condition, a woodgrain and paint matched dashboard and an aftermarket steering wheel. The power plant in this Chevy appears to be the always reliable 350 cubic inch V8 motor and paired with an automatic transmission. The motor and transmission both are in great running order according to our test drive. The current owner of this Chevy has owned it for the last 30+ years and believes the restoration was completed just about 25 years back. This is a great running truck that can be taken to the next level with just a few upgrades, or driven as it stands. Please call or email us today for more information.

The C/K was Chevrolet and GMC's full -size pickup truck line from 1960 until 2000 in the United States, from 1965 to 2000 in Canada, from 1964 to 2001 in Brazil, and from 1975 to 1982 in Chile. The first Chevrolet pickup truck was introduced in 1924, though in-house designs did not appear until 1930. "C" indicated two-wheel drive and "K" indicated four-wheel drive. A new, more modern look came in 1967, along with a new nickname: "Action Line". It was with this revision of the C/K truck that General Motors began to add comfort and convenience items to a vehicle line that had previously been for work purposes alone. The majority of 10 series and some 20 series Chevrolet trucks from 1967 to 1972 were equipped with a coil spring trailing arm rear suspension, which greatly improved the ride over traditional leaf springs. In 1968, the 307 and 396 CID V8's were added as well as the Longhorn model on 3/4 ton trucks. Featuring a 133-inch wheelbase, the Longhorn added an extra 6 inches to the bed. Longhorns, interestingly, were the only 2wd; no factory Longhorn 4x4 was built.
