Originally known as the 124, The Fiat Spider was designed by famed Italian coachbuilder, Pininfarina, whose name plate appears on the worlds most sought after cars. The 124 Spider was introduced in 1966 and was available for the European and US market. The cars were small and very capable sports cars that were fun to drive. The interiors were roomy and well appointed compared to other cars in its class, and the Pininfarina body design would prove timeless. In 1979, the cars engine displace increased from 1.8 to 2.0 liters re-branded as the spider 2000.

The 1979 Fiat Sider 2000 offered here is a highly original example, is said to have had 3 owners showing just 48074 miles on the odometer. The car is finished in its original factory color, Fiat Safari Ivory, over all original tan interior. The car is powered by its spunky 2.0 liter DOHC engine, 5 speed transmission and rear wheel drive.
