The Bel Air body is one of the most popular collector cars today as either stock examples or restomods.

This '56 sports a 350 v8 crate engine that was purchased new in 2013 that was installed by Hedges Automotive in Plainwell, MI and has Chevy performance parts on it. The 700r4 4 speed automatic floor shift transmission came out of a late 1980's Corvette. The car runs handles very well. The owner of the car has owned it roughly 5 years and purchased the car 5 years ago from El Paso, Texas. The car features a B&M shifter, Edelbrock carburetor, Edelbrock aluminum intake, painless wiring, 15 inch American Racing Wheels with BF Goodrich white letter tires, Grant steering wheel, tachometer, aftermarket gauges, power disc brakes, power steering, leather interior out of a Lexus, brand new posi rear end, new dash, and new chrome in the front and the rear. All of the suspension is also new. It is a 4 door car, but the rear handles were shaved to give it a 2 door look. The car shows remarkably well and is a must have for any collector or enthusiast.
