1979 Ford 150

The Ford Pickup and the American farmer is like Peanut Butter & Jelly, they complete the package and feed off each other for making themselves better. The F150 has a long and splendid story line in the age of the pickup from the first generations to todays style.

This extremely well documented pickup is a testament to how dedicated and meticouls this owner was of the truck. Vehicle has been owned by the current owner for the past 28yrs and only had one previous owner. He purchased the truck in April of '89 with 78k miles on the truck. Vehicle was ordered from the factory when new in Medium Gold with black interior, oil gauge, amp meter, 2.75 rear axle, power steering, camper mirrors, and tinted glass. The 2nd owner enjoyed the car the way he bought it for the next 17yrs, then in June of 2006 he took the car to the next level and restored the entire truck to how you see it now. Vehicle has an extensive detail log of all items purchased and service that was completed during the ownership and in use as a pickup prior to the restoration. The 3-ring binder that comes with the car is very detailed and shows each oil change, part purchased and every service that was completed by the owner or garage that completed the work.

When the restoration began the truck was dissembled and frame off treatment began on the entire body, frame and chasis of the truck. Engine, transmission and drivetrain were all gone through and rebuilt. The truck was stripped and pained in Electric Blue with white trim. The interior was completely replaced from top to bottom and custom camper top installed. This project became an addiction to the owner to build and restore this truck to be the best F150 out there. It is extremely well done and documented very well. The truck sits in a detail state and is in remarkable condition all around. It has won numerous awards at car shows and for the past 10yrs it has been displayed and entered into over 40 shows and taking home many trophies, plaques and certificates. Vehicle comes with some extra parts, 2 large 3-ring binders documenting ownership and restoration, two sets of keys and cover.
