The Nash Rambler is a North American automobile that was produced by the Nash Motors division of Nash-Kelvinator Corporation from 1950 to 1954. On May 1, 1954, Nash-Kelvinator merged with the Hudson Motor Car Company to form American Motors Corporation (AMC). The Nash Rambler was then built by AMC in Kenosha, Wisconsin through 1955. The Nash Rambler established a new segment in the automobile market and is widely acknowledged to be the first successful modern American compact car. The 1950-1955 Nash Rambler was the first model run for this automobile platform. Using the same tooling, AMC reintroduced an almost identical "new" 1958 Rambler American for a second model run. This was a rare feat of having two distinct and successful model runs, an almost unheard of phenomenon in automobile history.

GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this Custom 1960 Nash Rambler for consideration. This gorgeous Nash has been meticulously restored and done right from top to bottom. It has an impressive list of work done to it, some of it includes; shaved door handles, 16 gallon mustang gas tank, Chevy 350 cubic inch V8 motor, 350 Turbo transmission, Mustang II front suspension, 9 inch rear end, power steering, stereo with disc player, custom back glass which has been moved forward 8” which has shortened the ¼ glass, gas filler tube was moved behind the license plate, and many other small and unique features. The paint on this Rambler presents very well and has been air brushed on the sides to resemble a 56 Chevy. According to the owner, the restoration was completed about 10 years back, just prior to him taking ownership of the vehicle. Our test drive showed that this vehicle drives very straight without pulling in any direction, features a very strong running 350 motor, a transmission that shifts smoothly and is strong in every gear, and also has excellent braking. This vehicle is turn-key ready and will turn heads anywhere you bring it. Feel free to call or email us today for more information.
