1985 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am

Arguably one of the nicest Pontiac Firebird Trans Ams we've ever seen, this 1985 is in incredible condition. With just two owners since new, this is a pampered car. The current owner bought it from their neighbors in 1998 and it has been driven sparingly since then. The current mileage of 16,595 is believed to be accurate and the car has a clean Carfax report. Fitted with the 5.0L V8 engine that produces 190hp. Introduced in the midst of a fuel crisis, the Pontiac engineers focused on advanced aerodynamics as well as weight savings so that the reduced engine outputs would still provide excellent performance compared to the 3rd generation. The engine bay is flawless and wouldn't look out of place in a museum spec car. Similarly, the interior is in perfect condition as if it came out of the factory the day before. The dash is clean and uncracked and all of the instruments function perfectly. Power windows, power locks, air-conditioning, and stereo all work. The seats, carpets, and headliner in particular show zero signs of wear.

The car runs and drives very well with the engine starting up right away. The transmission shifts smoothly and the car rides remarkably well. The engine sounds good and pulls well and the brakes stop straight and true. The exterior shows very well with solid paint, plastic trim that shows no fading, and excellent decals. The only thing keeping this from concours condition is some paint chips on the front plastic bumper.

This is an incredible vehicle that is a time capsule from 1985. The car is completely stock and in the same shape it left the factory. A brand new battery, good tires, three keys, and the original window stickers and period brochures sweeten the deal. You will not find another one this clean.
