1989 Jeep Grand Wagoneer

The Grand Wagoneer was the first luxury 4x4, sold and produced from 1963 through 1991. The first “SUV” before the term was even coined, the wagoner saw only minor mechanical changes during its 28-year production run, the third longest in U.S. automotive history.
Although, the vehicle was built on a truck chassis and had a boxy design, it was more carlike than any other 4x4 on the market. The Wagoneer was much more luxurious compared to the offerings by GM and International Harvester.
With all of these Grand Wagoneers becoming very popular, the best of the best are the Chrysler owned 1987-1991 models. These are the trucks that had the most refinement, best colors and upgrades.
The 89 Jeep Grand Wagoneer offered here remains highly original with the exception with one repaint and new front seat upholstery. The truck hails from the desert southwest and boasts an excellent body and a clean dry original underside. It comes highly optioned for its time including power steering, power brakes, power windows, air conditioning, wood grain exterior panels, roof rack and aluminum wheels. Owner states that the engine had a major overhaul 20000ish miles ago and the power rear window has recently been rebuilt. This Jeep runs great and can be driven with confidence.
