This high quality, California example is powered by professionally prepared 360 high performance engine rebuilt with a forged steed crank, HD rods, ported intake and exhaust, heave duty valves and springs, steel dual timing gears, and forged pistons. The engine has been completely rebuilt with .30 pistons, .10 under crank and .10 over rods. Additionally, new cam, lifters, pushrods, timing set, oil pump, carburetor, distributer and MSD ignition with built in rev control. Completely new exhaust, radiator belts and hoses. The transmission is a Turbo 400 HD completely rebuilt with new torque converter, flexplace and pan with increased 4 quart capacity. The transfer case has been completely rebuilt with new chain, vacuum module and seals. The truck features a repaint and new interior carpets, seat upholstery and carpet all while retaining a high amount of originality including original dash, dash face, steering wheel, exterior bumpers and trim, badging, engine area, wheels, original paint on the firewall, original body panels, original paint in door jams, original glass, etc. Like most, this Cherokee came highly optioned from the factory, Automatic transmission, power steering, factory air conditioning that blows cold, power brakes, power rear window that works great, front bucket seats with armrest, two package, roof rack, etc. The classic white exterior paint over green interior work awesome together to throw you right back to the 70's. It is very apparent that this 1974 Jeep Cherokee led a charmed life of care and service.
