GR Auto Galley is excited to bring to market this masterfully executed 1931 Ford Victoria Custom Coupe to market. This 1931 Ford Victoria has been customized and handcrafted by the skillful hands of and nationally recognized, Butch Payne of Finely Finished Productions, Sparta, MI. At the core of this build is a extremely well preserved all steel 1931 Ford Victoria body originating from Texas atop of a 1932 Brookville Roadster Frame. Modifications and fabrications are as follows: 3 ½ inch chip, 1932 Header, 1932 double-steel firewall, 1932 cowl vent, double steel floor, steel sub-frame and a 1933 Grille. The body is finished in Hot Rod Black with subtle stainless and polished accents with custom steel wheels painted burnt orange.
A Generation III Chevy 502 Marine engine powers the car, which has been professionally prepared by More Power Inc. The motor is bored to 515 and features a 4-bolt main, roller rocker assemble, Competition Cam, fed by a Holly 870 4-Barrel Carburetor producing 478.9 Horsepower at 5200 RPM and a face ripping 538.1 pound feet of torque at 3200 RPM. All this power is transferred by a fortified Turbo 350 automatic transmission and applied by a desirable and trick Winters polished aluminum Quick-Change rear end. Other highlights include: SuperBell front-end with Viper by Pete & Jakes Hair pins, power front and rear brakes with all stainless steel brake lines, Moroso transmission cooler, 11 inch drums, Aeromotive fuel pump, all stainless steel hardware, American Auto Wire highway 15 harness, Stewart-Warner Gauges, etc. The performance of this 1931 Vicky is amazing and is only surpassed by its style, quality and overall presentation.
When it comes to custom rods, quality of build is everything. Butch Payne of Finely Finished Productions has been building cars (and other things) for decades and has been awarded by Rod and Custom Magazine, Street Rod Life and the car offered here featured in November 2015 edition of Cruisein' News. His imagination, design combined with his fabrication skills can be matched with the most well known builders on the planet. This 1931 Ford Victoria Custom Coupe is the fruition of his years of expertise as a craftsman combined with brutally exciting performance and drivability. Offered here at a fraction of what it would cost to build. The car comes is fully sorted after being driven approximately 250 miles and is documented with photos showing the original body stripped to metal, all receipts of the build and dyno results.
