1931 Ford Model A

Introduced in 1927, Fords Model A was a worthy successor to the proven Model T. The car definitely showed progress in design and drivability and soon would be the best selling car in America with nearly 2 million variations of the Model A sold within the first six months of production. Slight design changes in 1930 and 1931 would launch the vehicle into timeless iconic status all while setting new standards for reliability and longevity.

The 1931 rumble seat coupe offered here is a great running and driving piece of history. The brakes were converted and upgraded to hydraulic brakes and the generator was changed to a 6 volt alternator. It also features 2 fender mounted spare tires and dual cowl mounted lamps. The speedometer seems to function as it should. There is also a rear mounted luggage rack as well. This is truly a great entry level, all steel, collectable car.

This is the last year the model a was produced and has excellent mechanicals and drivability. The paint is showing its age but remains very presentable and the bumpers, dash and bright-work complete and unrestored as well as the original chassis and underside. This Model A Rumble Seat Coupe still offers much enjoyment to its next owner and is ready for any open country touring or parade event.
