1977 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ-40

There is a reason why the Land Cruiser is Toyota's longest running series. It has proven itself all over the world in the most extreme climates and situations as the go-to vehicle for all things versatile. From adventure to taxi cabs this iconic 4WD has exceeded the expectations of most and has one of the largest followings of anything on the road today.
Although the Land Cruiser was developed to take on the Bantam Jeep during WWII and was directly influenced by this it took on a form and functionality all its own just after the war.
The FJ40 began production began in 1960 and went through 1984. Basically a one design vehicle for all those years, with mechanical and minor cosmetic changes to keep up with the changing times.
The FJ presented to you here is a rock solid truck and believed to have 58,281 original miles. With only one repaint in its factory “Sky Blue color” and reupholstered seats, this FJ is very original.
Newer parts installed on this FJ include, starter, master cylinder, slave cylinder, fuel pump, distributor, battery and cables, 2 ½ inch lift kit from cool cruisers, 5 BF Goodrich Mud Terrain T/A 33 inch tires, shackles and steering stabilizer, reconditioned radiator and Kenwood stereo and speakers.

This truck was selectively restored to be a nice driver that you can use. It goes down the road as it should; starting, shifting and stopping nicely. Toyota FJ 40's are the hottest vintage 4X4 on the market. Their nostalgia, ability to go anywhere and reliability surpasses all.
