1968 Plymouth Barracuda

GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this Supercharged 1968 Plymouth Barracuda. The second generation Barracuda was what the originals should have been right from the start, three years earlier. The Plymouth Barracuda is a two-door car that was manufactured by Plymouth from the 1964 to 1974 model years. The second-generation 1967 to 1969 Barracuda, though still Valiant-based, was heavily redesigned. Second-generation A-body cars were available in fastback, notchback, and convertible versions.

This fantastic example of a Barracuda was restored in 2007 and finished with Violet Pearl over Purple; this clean paint job is definitely an eye catcher. According to the owner, this Barracuda has featured in Mopar magazines and has won awards. It is easy to see why the body is in great shape and is definitely something to be seen. What will really turn heads is listening to this Paxton Supercharged 340ci Mopar-powered V8 with a Flowmaster exhaust to give a great rumble. With a 4-speed manual transmission with the recognizable Hurst shifter, sending power to the Posi-Traction rear end and 17in Billet wheels and newer BF Goodrich G-Force tires. This 'Cuda also has cross drilled rotors and front disc brakes, with a couple other modern touches like a newer Kenwood AM/FM/CD stereo, and a beautiful updated white interior with a fold back seat. Also according to the owner, there are newer gas lines and tank, some other features include Auto-Meter Pro-Comp Ultralite gauges and a wood steering wheel by Grant.
