First introduced in 1966 the 124 Spider was a 2+2 convertible that was designed by Pininfarina which is famous for designing classic Ferarri's. The Fiat spider has always been the showpiece of the Fiat lineup and it is no surprise when you really look at the lines of the body and also get behind the wheel of such a fun sports car with the top down. The tight and narrow streets of Italy is what drove Fiat to be such a small vehicle, however as most men will say…size doesn't matter. Once in the driver seat the light weight body comes alive with the peppy 4cyl and the perfectly geared 5spd manual begs for more.

We are thrilled to present this highly original and recently restored Fiat Spider for your consideration. The car is as nice as any others out there and it is evident that time and money were not a concern when the previous owner took on the endeavor of restoring the car. Started with a rust free body and brought back to life with numerous new parts, refurbished original pieces and retaining the factory drivetrain and engine. Documented receipts show full list of parts replaced or refurbished. If you can think of it, most likely was addressed – suspension, engine, drivetrain, seals, top, brakes, clutch etc.… were given the proper attention. The sheet metal was stripped and repainted in the original white color and the black vinyl top and red leather really complete the package. The car fires up quickly and idles smoothly. All gauges appear to be working and lights and wipers function properly. Vehicle did receive a newer Blaupunkt stereo with new speakers. The wood trim stands alone and long hours spent to give it the proper look. Vehicle cruises thru all gears with ease and truly is a head turner as very few of these exists in such nice condition. Weber carburetor functions well and is dialed in nicely with the car. Fireball ignition gives the car an easy startup and makes the cold starts much more simple. The car is setting on some very cool period correct knock off style 13in wheels with brand new General tires.

This is a golden opportunity to get into a rapidly rising valued car with a small investment but with huge upside. Regardless if you buy as an investment, there is many of smiles left to obtain on this Italian Stallion. With a large binder full of receipts, original smog parts also come with the purchase, spare tire, jack, convertible boot cover, rear jump seat, chrome luggage rack, wood wheel and manuals should put this car on the top of your list for an instant buy.
