The early years of the Dodge Brothers was some of the most unique as they tried out many variations of their models with designing that wasn't common for their time. After introduction of their new design at the New York Automobile show in January of 1924, they showcased that uniqueness with Standard, Special and Custom bodies available. Many upgrades were made when the Brothers released the newest design in 1924 which included a higher hood line, taller radiator, improved suspension, a flat and slanted sun visor with curved corner brackets and even a closed body style for their roadster model. Featuring the L-head 212.3 cubic-inch four-cylinder mated to a 3-speed manual transmission, this vehicle was told to push out 35 horsepower from the factory and measured 116 inches for the wheelbase.

GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this highly original but strong running example of the 1925 Dodge Brothers Roadster for your consideration. Featuring all the patina you could come to expect from a vehicle as old as this one, the body, paint, trim, windshield, powertrain and more are all believed to be original with just enough work completed to bring this one to the drivable antique condition you see today! The outside shows its age but with very little missing throughout. The windshield features a stamp-like sticker on it which reads “California 1944 Registration” and its California plates tell you that this vehicle was kept in the nicer side of the country for the beginning years of its life and shows it throughout with no restoration to the body or interior clear to find. The “Service Unit” on the passenger side running board is even still in place and intact which was used to hold the extra fluids needed after the vehicle burned enough gas to also take down some of the other necessary fluids! The spare tire is mounted to the back of this 3-seater, the four tires on it feature an amazing set of wooden spoke wheels and one can really get a feel for the amount of craftsmanship it took to build these cars back in the day. The interior has held together well with its black vinyl seating, the steering wheel is wooden with all the wear and grooving you would come to expect from an original and with its easy start and stop, this is a true survivor! Fully drivable, more personality than any other and all that classic patina one comes to love in any antique, call or email us today for more information on this amazing roadster!
