Starting their new design of their Cutlass model for the 1968 model year, Oldsmobile completely changed the wheelbase, styling and options for its new generation. Featuring two wheelbases, a shorter 2-door “Cutlass S” as well as a longer wheelbase for their 4-door Cutlass/Cutlass Supreme models, this model gave way to a broader market with revamped body panels and new rooflines soon to come. While many of the models featured the tried and true 350 cid V8 engine, some were even paired with an inline 6 which was an attempt to help with fuel economy. Convertibles were made but at a more limited basis making those survivors more desirable amongst collectors and enthusiasts alike.

Featuring a new vinyl top, a strong running 350 V8 engine mated to its preferred 4-speed manual and all the potential on the outside, this is a great find for those looking for their next classic ride! From the outside the vehicle shows well with its chrome kept in rather good condition along the body lines and bumpers, there is room for improvement with the paint and body but overall shows well. The interior is even better off with its black vinyl standing tall, the gauges are as they should be with a fully intact dash, there are fixes to be made to this particular model but at this price point for what it does have to offer this is a perfect candidate for those who are handy or those who just love to enjoy a car rain or shine! Improvements already completed on this model include a new oil pan gasket, front crank seal, new ignition wires and spark plugs, front and rear shocks and springs were replaced a while ago and a few receipts for ease of mind.
