Henry Ford spent most his first years fighting off the idea of changing the Model T which produced and sold over 15 million models before his son, Edsel, finally convinced him that some new features and comforts were necessary. On May 25th, 1927, Ford announced the shutdown of the plant and production of the Model A and began retooling the entire factory to begin its new and improved version, the Model A. They completed this process in almost 6 months and had cars pumping out quickly which was only possible due to Edsel secretly marshaling the design and sketch team to begin working on the new model prior to Henry ever even approving such a change. Although many have come to appreciate the original designs, even more have enjoyed customizing these antiques into more modern and drivable rides such as this example you see today.

GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this beautifully customized example of the 1929 Ford Model A Coupe for your consideration. Featuring some great creature comforts like its vintage air and aftermarket AM/FM/Cassette media center for all your music needs, this is a real cruiser with all the personality and comfort one could hope for! From inside to out, this vehicle has been well finished but with no definitive answer for when or where and the interior is sitting like new with its tan cloth covering the seats and headliner. The suicide doors are a great touch with tan vinyl and cloth finishes to the inside but the passenger lock is jammed, something that should be rather easy to remedy. The dash is clean with a set of Dolphin gauges installed, the windows and glass all in good shape and functioning well, the trunk is finished to match the rest of the interior with a pull popper hidden behind the gas filler door and overall this is a well completed ride. The outside is loud and proud with its beautiful blue color and Cragar wheels, the engine is exposed and a couple of unfinished engine compartment hoods are included for the next owner to either finish up and use or leave this ride showing off its 350 block as it sits today. With its beautiful fenders, sharp interior and comfortable ride, this is sure to bring a smile to its next owner soon! Call or email us today for more information on this custom beauty.
