The unibody design was much smaller, lighter, and more rigid than anything available. The long hood could accommodate a variety of engine configurations including a high performance V8. The 1966 Ford Mustang Convertible offered here remains highly original featuring one repaint in its original factory color of Silver Blue Metallic paint over 2 tone blue interior. This Mustang Convertible is a desirable A-Code model which features its 289 V8 engine, 4bbl carburetor, automatic transmission and 2.8:1 rear axle code. Although this car does not carry the GT Package, it is important to note that the GT package was only available of A-code mustangs and the ultra desirable K-code. Other highlights include: power steering, power top, GT style exhaust, original seats, new carpet, 61000 believed to be original miles, spinner hubcaps, a nice service file and owners manual. Mechanically, this A-code Mustang convertible is very fit, turn key and ready for immediate enjoyment.
