The truck is powered by a professionally prepared, very healthy Ford 351 V8 that is mated to a 4 speed manual transmission. A 205 transfer case, Dana 44 front axle and Dana 60 rear complete the drive train of this F-150. Extensive records and receipts indicate that the complete mechanical and cosmetic frame off restoration was completed approximately in 2001, since the truck has used and enjoyed roughly 11000 miles over the past 14 years. The truck features a 3 inch Body lift, newer custom 15 inch wheels outfitted with beefy 35 X 12.50 RT15LT tires, custom leaf springs, Rancho gas charged shocks, round tube grill, new Flowmaster exhaust, Baja style gusseted rear fenders with spare tire mount in bed, slightly customized interior with diamond plate accents, auxiliary gauges, custom center console, etc. The restoration of this truck has held up remarkably well over the last 14 years, which demonstrates the quality of the work performed. The frame, underside, body and Wimbledon White paint still show excellent overall with minimal signs of age. The interior remains very tidy and the engine and engine bay are very clean as well.
This 1977 Ford F-150 is a complete blast to drive and stage presence wherever it is taken. Its current mechanical state is fully serviced, turnkey and ready for immediate use. Vintage Ford 4x4 trucks have recently gained much traction in the collector and classic vehicle market and are rapidly increasing in value.
