Plymouth's “dare to be different” attitude was exemplified with the road runner as in 1968 the paid 50, 000 dollars to Warner Brothers to use the name and likeness of their iconic Road Runner cartoon character and they spent thousands on the development of the cars signature “beep beep” horn. The design and promotional aspect was fun and fresh, however the power and performance of these cars were taken very seriously during development as the muscle car wars were at their height of their popularity in 1969.

This Roadrunner is a California car offered for sale publicly for the first time. It is powered by a rebuilt 383ci 6 BBL V8 engine paired with a 4-speed manual transmission. This car features Orange paint, black vinyl interior, aftermarket tachometer, aftermarket radio with remote, a new mat in the trunk, and Hurst shifter. This car is a lot of fun to drive and a great example of vintage Mopar Muscle.
