1964 Mercury Marauder

The Mercury Marauder was found three times through the history of Mercury brand and was produced for many different purposes from its early call to NASCAR to its late purpose within the police force. With its first production in 1958, the Marauder was the Mercury equivalent of the Ford Galaxie and used all the same powertrain with different names. The first calling of this model was to be made into a 2-door hardtop with the forward-slanted “fastback” roofline and began its domination of the track for NASCAR alongside its Galaxie counterpart. With victories in 1963-1964, Mercury had found its champion by name of Marauder. This name was carried on for two more generations and although its purposes ran out after the Grand Marquis proved to be more in demand with the police force, the success in its earlier years was undeniable and its popularity seems to be making a comeback due to the limited years this name was used for.

This fine example of a 1964 Mercury Marauder has many great looks from inside to out and with unique colors, a lot of originality and great drivability, this is a sure win to the finish line for its next owner!
