1977 Ford F250

High boy is a term used by enthusiasts referring to trucks from 1967-1977.5. The actual ford term used is "Factory High Rider." The Highboy got its name from sitting higher from the factory than other Ford trucks. The front end sits higher than others due to the divorced transfer case, leaving the rear end needing additional four inch lift blocks to level it out in the rear. The front axle is a 8 lug low pinion Dana 44, and the rear is a full floating Dana 60.

The 1977 Ford F250 Highboy here is a recipient of a recent frame off restoration. At this time the chassis was covered in heavy-duty chassis paint. The body was finished in DuPont Deep impact blue. The bed is all original ford steel with no patch panels welded in. The inside of the bed was professionally coated with Linex. The 400m motor was rebuilt, receiving a 268h camshaft, .30 over Silvolite pistons and rings, Clevite bearings, Edlebrock performer 400 intake, Edlebrock carburetor, Hedman fender wall headers, 3" Flowmaster super 44's. The bench seat has been freshly reupholstered ready to bring you miles of enjoyment.
