The 89 is the most sought after 930 turbo due to its low production and it's the only year that incorporated the G50 5-Speed transmission. The 4 owner car offered here was purchased new from Georges-Wittmann Imports, Inc. Wichita, KS on January 26, 1989 dressed in classic Guards Red paint, Cashmere Leather / Leatherette Interior, Reno Radio, Steering Wheel with Raised Hub, Shortened Shift Lever and Supple Leather Interior. Records indicate that ownership transferred in 1991 to West Palm Beach Florida and again in 1992 to Southern California where the car has remained until our recent acquisition. The car has always been in the hands of enthusiast ownerships, consistently and properly maintained, serviced, garaged kept, detailed, driven and enjoyed for just 37979 miles. Today, the car remains in outstanding original condition and exhibits all the signs of proper stewardship it has received since purchased new. After very close inspection, the Guards Red paint appears and is believed to be all original and still shows excellent in all areas, zero signs of accidents or incidents, the trim and spoilers all remain excellent and the original leather interior is wonderful. Mechanically, this 930 Turbo is dialed in and spot on.
