1999 Ferrari 360 Modena

Ferrari introduced the head turning 360 Modena and dealers and speculators rushed to get their hands on this model and then mark them up with a significant premium. A totally new design that was perceived extremely well by all fans of the Ferrari nameplate. The new approach employs technology based on the use of aluminum for the chassis, body shell, and suspension wishbones. The exclusive use of aluminum, a first for a Ferrari road car, has enabled Ferrari's engineers to reduce the 360 Modena's dry weight by 100 kg compared to the 355 despite rather more generous dimensions resulting in greater comfort and storage space. Performance has also improved across the board thanks to both a power weight ratio 0.9lbs/bhp better than the car's predecessor, and the exceptional 3586cc 90° V8 engine providing 400bhp at 8500rpm and 275lb-ft at 4750rpm. The 360 Modena is the culmination of research and experimentation with the use of aluminum on everything from Formula 1 cars, to the 408 4RM prototype and the GT competition cars which were always fabricated in aluminum. The 360 Modena combines Ferrari heritage with innovation.
This stunning car is in very nice shape and runs and drives as you would expect. The gorgeous color combination is very unique and is a very nice change from the typical Red or Yellow cars that are on the market. Further rareness is the 6spd manual transmission that responds quickly and gives you the coveted gate shifter pattern of the Ferrari. Factory options were; red brake calipers, 6CD changer, colored upper dashboard, interior piping in contrast color, upholstered top, and colored steering wheel. Vehicle comes with some service records and a recent belt service and fluids. Car retains all books, manuals, tools and leather bags. Both sets of keys and remotes are also with the car and the factory window sticker and factory car cover. 3M clear bra was installed and shows very nicely. The paint is pristine and the interior shows and looks great in person. Tires have lots of tread left along with no curb rash on the wheels.
