1965 Ford Mustang

GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this 1965 Ford Mustang Convertible for purchase. Ford made such a splash with the Mustang that it not only sold a ton of vehicles, it created a whole new class of automobiles. Ford was also so excited for the '65 Mustang they started the production five months before normal. They are titled as 1965's, but are more appropriately nicknamed 1964.5's because of significant changes at the start of the normal model year production.

This Mustang Convertible is a D-code meaning it came from the factory with an optional 210 horsepower 289ci V8. This is a one-family owned car purchased by the current owner's father in October of 1964. It received new paint and chrome in 2001. The paint is actually Performance Red from the 2001 Mustang option list. It features power steering, power brakes, a new master cylinder, and a cassette/radio system. This is a really well maintained Mustang that is very clean and a great runner. A real D-code convertible 64.5 is a great find in this condition and these cars keep steadily increasing in value as the first Mustangs to roll off the line. Please call or email for more details!
