Up for consideration is this 3-owner US-spec 1974 Mercedes-Benz 450SL Roadster. It is green over green with a black soft top and a green body colored hardtop. The car sports its original paint, interior, and mechanicals and is equipped with all the luxury and convenience options one would expect of a Mercedes-Benz such as: power steering, power brakes, power windows, power locks, front and rear disc brakes, cruise control, A/C which has been converted to R134a, and heat.
It was purchased new in Missouri and the current owner has sparingly drove it and kept in in heated storage for the last 12 years. Being the 450, under the hood is the 4.5L V8 producing 190hp and 240lb. ft. of torque matted to a 4-speed automatic. It runs and drives very good, the A/C blows cold, and the locking mechanisms for both tops work great. Considering it is original, the interior is in very good condition but the paint could use a re-fresh. The 101,340 miles are original and it comes with the original books, manuals, 2 sets of keys, and a set of the original wheels and green hub-caps as pictured.
