1957 Chevrolet Bel Air 210

GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present his 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air 210 2-Door Sedan.

This '57 Chevy features a pump-gas 454ci V8 with a BDS 871 blower and dual 750cfm Holly boost referenced blower carbs. It has aluminum heads, a 650 lift solid roller cam, roller rocker arms, Diamond 8:1 pistons, Eagle chromoly rods, Headman headers with a ceramic coated exhaust, and a Mallory ignition. The engine sits on a Camaro front clip. This blown big block is mated to a Turbo 400 transmission with a manual valve body pushing a Ford 9” rear-end and also features 4-wheel disc brakes. The car has been mini-tubbed with 28x12.5 Mickey Thompson Street E/Ts out back and P205/70R15 in front on 15” American Racing mag wheels.

To go along with the engine, the entire car received a restoration with a new interior and paint. It is finished in zinc yellow with a grey and black vinyl and cloth interior. All of the work was done by the following vendors: Heads-Up Racing, Dion, Gordon Duda, Superior Radiator, Big Al's Toy Box, and C.A.R.S. Inc. There is over $50,000 in document receipts for the build and with roughly 500 miles since the build, this car has been mostly relegated to show duty with multiple Autorama appearances as well as on the cover of Models And Muscle magazine in 2009. Don't let the horsepower figure scare you, this is a very streetable machine and is very well known around the Metro Detroit region as one of the best built, highest quality, show-stopping '57 Chevys around! It also comes with the Bel-Air trim for the rear fenders.
