1928 Ford Model A

With the sales of the Model T starting to fall in the mid 1920's , Ford quickly began looking at replacing it. Ford Motor Company spent over 100,000,000 dollars to switch gears into producing the Model A, which for 1926 was a substantial size of money. Unlike the Model t, the new Model A came in 7 different body styles and 4 different colors. Later more body styles were added. The 60-A Leather back was the first Model A Fordor sedan. The Fordor was announced in early 1928, but didn't go into production until mid-May. The body was built by the Briggs manufacturing company. Briggs manufacturing company leased space from the Ford Motor Company at the Highland Park plant in Dearborn, MI.

The Model A offered here is in great shape and is ready to cruise anywhere. Mechanically the car runs awesome and shifts great. It is equipped with a high speed rear end which separates it from other model A's, allowing it to cruise right along. The rear suicide doors offer a sporty look as well.
