In 1953 MG came out with the MGTF to replace the MGTD. Still using the same 1250 cc cylinder engine, MG raised the compression to 8:1 and gave it larger valves and stronger valve springs, using twin S.U. carburetors which allowed for 57.5 HP. This is slightly higher than the earlier MGTD. The body also received a newer, sleek look than the TD, it was also given more comfortable bucket seats.

The TF offered here has wire wheels with knock offs that remain in great shape. It also has fog lamps, which were an upgraded option as well. The top remains in great condition as does the interior. The inline 4cylinder 1250 cc starts with ease and idles nicely. The gear box is a 4 speed manual and makes motoring around town lots of fun.

Between 1953 and 1955 only 9,600 MGTF's were built. Obviously far less than the MGTD's production of 30,000, this car is a must have in any collection. With the collectability of the MGs always rising, don't miss out on this opportunity to own one yourself.
