Contributing to the lighter weight of the 370Z is the use of aluminum for the front sub frame, engine cradle, door panels, hood, and hatch. The 370Z uses a front double wishbone suspension, with forged aluminum control arms and steering knuckles, the rear multi-link suspension uses forged aluminum upper control arms, lower arms, and radius rods. All of these weight saving and drag limiting measures produces a 0-60mph of 4.6 seconds, a ¼ time of 13.1 seconds at 108mph, and a skip pad rating of 0.99g.
