1986 Porsche 911 Carrera

Sports cars come in all shapes and sizes and have come and gone throughout the years with some have great success and some failing quickly after their launch. The Porsche Carrera/911 has stood the test of time while never altering its name or core design. Launched in the year of 1963, but not available to the masses till 1964 the Porsche has been as steady as brats and sauerkraut. More than 820,000 Porsche 911s have been built, making it one of the most successful sports cars in the world. For each of its seven generations the engineers in Zuffenhausen and Weissach have reinvented it, time and time again demonstrating to the world the innovative power of the Porsche brand. Like no other vehicle, the 911 reconciles apparent contradictions such as sportiness and everyday practicality, tradition and innovation, exclusivity and social acceptance, design and functionality. It is no wonder that each generation has written its own personal success story. Ferry Porsche best described its unique qualities: “The 911 is the only car you could drive on an African safari or at Le Mans, to the theater or through New York City traffic.”

This very nice Carrera was properly optioned in the rare but fitting '80's color of White Gold Metallic with well-preserved brown leather interior. Car is complimented with the paint to match Fuchs that have been recently resurfaced. Vehicle has a very stock look and only modification that is noticeable is a Pioneer stereo unit and upgraded speakers. Interior of the car is in very nice shape with seats in superb condition both front and rear and clean and tight headliner. Door pockets and carpet represent well and are not abused or matted down. The exterior of the car shows very nice and is evident the southern exposure has treated the car well without being exposed to the Midwest climate or weather. Vehicle runs strong thru all 5 forward gears with power and response. Braking and suspension are tight and quick to bring you to a stop.
We are happy to bring this car to market only after 3 previous owners and recently purchased from an avid PCA member and collector.
