1975 Triumph TR6

The Triumph TR6 is the last of the traditional British Roadsters. These cars offer a pure, open air, sports car motoring experience that is unique to the marquee. The sound, the feel and the handling is something that any auto enthusiast should experience. Their traditional design, mechanical reliability and parts availability make them easy to own and enjoy. For this reason these cars have become proven investments.

This very nice TR6 has a strong service history and lots of documentation as well as been partially restored with complete engine rebuild. Vehicle has only changed ownership three times and the long list of upgrades and replacement items have been performed. Recent items include; carburetor rebuild with complete gasket kit, period correct green radiator and heater hoses with new clamps and system drained and flushed, intake manifold removed and painted with new gasket, new thermostat, exhaust manifold removed and painted with new gasket, valve covers painted and new gaskets, rebuilt fuel pump and fuel lines, new Lucas distributor cap and wires, new battery cables, new brake master cylinder and rebuilt brake booster, brake lines cleaned, bled and new brake nipples and flex lines on all four corners, new radiator assembly cowl, new windshield and gaskets and chrome trim kit, new rear brake lenses, door seals and trunk seals, front bumper replaced, shift knob, and water pump. Further enhancements include; a T6G3 camshaft, clutch pressure plate, vacuum lines, new seat covers and carpet kit, brake pads, many O-rings, seals and filter for transmission, trailing arm bushings, throttle springs, convertible top with zip out window, and Dunlop red-line axiom plus tires.

Car runs and drives great and has a lot of appeal both inside and out. Car retains the original paint with some freshening up. The engine compartment is gorgeous and shows better than when it was new. This TR6 has had all the hard work performed and is ready to be driven and enjoyed or taken a step further to make it a concourse type car with paint enhancements. Car came from South Carolina originally and was kept in the southern climate its entire life.
