GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this 1964 Chevrolet Corvair 95 Rampside Pickup for purchase. Chevrolet really aimed to take a bite out of Volkswagen with the Corvair line. While the sports car version of the series is very famous, not many know about the Corvair 95 (sometimes known as Greenbrier) series. There was a van and a pickup. The pickup came in 2 options, loadside & rampside. This is the rampside that has a side ramp for easy loading (also has regular tailgate in the rear). The bed is 9' long and multi-leveled. The 164cu in flat six cylinder engine is under the rear of the bed.
This is a 4-speed manual transmission. This truck is really easy and fun to drive. The body style is incredibly unique and only 851 Corvair Pickups were sold in 1964. Few are around today. The current owner has had this truck for 20 years, and has always stored it. The rear mounted, air-cooled Corvair's are very collectible cars for their unique build and status in automotive history. The Rampside Pickup is the rarest of the body styles that Corvair's came in with only 851 built in 1964. Please call or email for more details!
