1971 Chevrolet Chevelle SS

The Chevelle runs very well and the seller reports the engine and transmission had been rebuilt at some point. The fit and finish on the body is good on all surfaces. The frame, floors and trunk all appear to be very clean, solid and original.

The Chevelle was a mid-size model that was produced over a few generations starting in 1964. The second generation is arguably the most popular and featured a distinctly sculpted “coke bottle” body with tapered fenders and a rear quarter kick up. A variety of engines were on offer but the most potent and powerful being the 454cid V8 in the SS. The 1970 model year brought a host of changes such as a squared up front fascia and revised options. The quad headlights are probably the most well regarded Chevelle feature and typically hold the highest value.
