GR Auto Gallery is pleased to bring to market this stunning 1966 Pontiac GTO. It is finished in Indigo and shows very well. After starting off technically as a trim option on the Lemans, the GTO became its own model in 1966. For '66 & '67, the muscle car was a brand of its own with the awesome stacked headlights look, plenty of power, and a better suspension. The GTO offered here is a real “242” car. The GTO rides on Firestone white letter tires with American Racing wheels. Other highlights include power steering, Edelbrock Performance aluminum heads with headers, Edelbrock intake and Demon carburetor, CD player tuck in the glovebox, car cover. The car is powered by a healthy 383 stroker V8 and performs well and it is paired with a smooth manual shifting transmission.

The Pontiac GTO is an automobile that was manufactured by American automobile manufacturer Pontiac from 1964 to 1974 model years, and by GM's subsidiary Holden in Australia from 2004 to 2006 model years. The first generation of the GTO was a muscle car produced in the 1960s and the 1970s. Although there were muscle cars introduced earlier than the GTO, the Pontiac GTO is considered by some to have started the trend with all four domestic automakers offering a variety of competing models
