Under the hood is a small block 383ci V8 motor with tons of upgrades. The strong running motor sends power to the rear wheels through a smooth shifting 350 turbo automatic transmission. With the small block power plant, there is more than enough horsepower to haul this sleek sports car down the road at a brisk pace.

The power plant was based on a Sportsman Series 383 block with cast iron heads that was built up into an impressive set up. The power plant includes nitrous oxide as well. The car comes with a large binder of receipts, history and manuals for parts on this car. The body is straight and clean and finished in fresh paint. The Corvette rides on American Classic Cragar style wheels. Other highlights include high rise cowl hood, power brakes and power steering, Motown high rise intake, Holley carburetor, MSD distributor and coil, T-tops, roll bar, Autometer gauges, tilt column, Lecarra steering wheel and racing seat belts.

The C3 generation of Corvettes were the stingrays patterned after the Mako Shark II designed by Larry Shinoda and executed under Bill Mitchell's direction. After 1974 government restrictions, the gigantic muscle cars were being scaled back to just cruisers more than road carvers. The C3 Corvette though lived on being advertised as “a more efficient Corvette” while still maintaining the bite that wasn't currently being produced elsewhere. The 1977 models featured steel floor panels which reduced interior noise and weighed less than the previous fiberglass floors.
