1968 Buick Special Deluxe

GR Auto Gallery is pleased to bring to market this 1968 Buick Special Deluxe. The Special nameplate was used on lower-priced intermediate-sized Buicks through the 1969 model year. In 1968 and 1969, the Buick Special was dropped and only Special Deluxes were manufactured.

The example offered here decodes to being built the third week of October. The car was originally Ivory Gold Mist with Gold trim. The car is now finished in Green and shows well. The 5.7 V8 engine is out of a 1972 Buick and runs well. The V8 has a Stage 1 intake manifold with 4BBL Edelbrock carburetor, and headers. Other highlights include power brakes, aluminum radiator, dual electric cooling fans, Sport Comp tach and aftermarket gauges, 15 inch Cragar wheels, Kenwood CD player and center console. The Buick recently had the brakes serviced along with new front tie rods and alignment and comes with a receipt reflecting the work that was done.
