1970 GMC K-10

The GMC Truck marque first made its appearance at the New York Auto Show in 1912. GMC produced just 372 units that year. That was the beginning of a much larger vision as GMC has been a leading truck manufacturer for now over 100 years. In 1916, a GMC truck crossed the country from Seattle to New York City in thirty days. 10 years later, a 2-ton GMC truck drove from New York City to San Francisco is just 5 days. During the second world war, GMC produced over 600, 000 trucks for use by the United States Armed Forces. GMC has remained synonymous with the word truck and to this day builds the best in the business.
