The GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this 1965 Ford Mustang for your consideration. This beautiful Mustang is finished in Wimbledon White which is believed to be an older repaint done before previous ownership. The interior of this vehicle is finished in black leather which shows some minor signs of wear but features an upgraded air conditioner which was equipped by the current owner. Powered by a 289ci V8 produces an excellent exhaust note and sends the power through the rear wheels through a 3-speed automatic transmission. This vehicle is currently showing just over 30,000 miles on the odometer. An American icon for a reason, this Mustang is an excellent example to drive and enjoy.

The first-generation Ford Mustang was manufactured by Ford from March 1964 until 1973. The introduction of the Mustang created a new class of automobile known as the pony car. The Mustang's styling, with its long hood and short deck, proved wildly popular and inspired a host of competition. It was initially introduced on April 17, 1964, as a hardtop and convertible with the fastback version put on sale in August 1964. At the time of its introduction, the Mustang, sharing its platform with the Falcon, was slotted into a compact car segment. With each revision, the Mustang saw an increase in overall dimensions and in engine power.
