1984 Jeep Cherokee

Before I get started….Yes, the odometer has 194,839 miles and the vehicle has rolled down the highway that many miles being flat towed behind a Motor Coach for all of its life, however the engine transmission only have about 30,000 active miles. The XJ or Cherokee by Jeep was built from 1984-2001 and in a book of Off-Roading put out in 2007, they called the XJ a “significant link in the evolution of the 4x4”. This off-road sportwagon was light, extremely rigid and sturdy, using 3200 welds on a completed body and had plenty of power even in the early years of the 2.5 4-cylinder and 2.5 6-Cylinder. The XJ was offered in a three or five door configuration using both automatic and manual transmissions with a variety of engine configurations depending on which corner of the world you were to buy one. This absolute stunning example is a Carolina bought and owned vehicle since day one that was used as the owners vehicle they would tow behind their coach to other warm climate destinations. There is zero rust, and the only blemishes are that of some rock chips on the rear lower area and a little sun fading but I guarantee there was a shield on the front of the Jeep as the front end is absolutely wonderful. This has only traded hands once to a family member and plans have changed for them so its time to pass this beauty along to someone else. The interior is about as close to perfect as you are going to find for a 37 year old vehicle. Everything works as it should, the car was undercoated at the dealer when new, the tires are fresh and brakes appear to be as well. These have become hot in the 4x4 collector world.
