The car was purchased new at Arata Pontiac of Burlingame, CA and came dressed in Ascot Silver exterior paint over black interior. It remained in that area for the majority of its life. Factory options include: Electric rear window defroster, Safe-T-Track rear differential, power disc front brakes, 400 cid V8 engine, 4 barrel carb, 4 speed manual close ratio transmission, Formula steering wheel, variable ratio power steering, honeycomb wheels, AM/FM radio with rear seat speaker, heavy duty radiator, rally gauge cluster to include clock and I / p tach, custom trim group consisting of: truck fitted floor mat, door handle décor, custom bucket seats, custom rear seat, custom interior appointments; Body Protection Group: vinyl body side moldings, door edge guards, rear bumper guards; and Handling package consisiting of: Heavy duty stabilizer bars, 15x7 wheels and GR 70X15 steel belt radial tires.
Today at just over 61000 miles, this 1973 Formula remains a high-quality example that retains much originality. The car has had one repaint in its original factory color with the rest of the vehicle remaining very original. The miles are said to be and believed to be original. The motor appears to be original and numbers matching, the stamp on the front side of the block matches the VIN and all other castings, date codes and id stamps are correct.
