The first generation of Camaro began in the 1967 model year and would run through 1969. It is an American Pony car that was introduced by Chevrolet on a brand-new F-body platform. There was a plethora of options available right out of the gate along mated to three main packages, the RS, SS and Z-28. The idea was a marketing campaign aimed at every single person in the market for a car, a commuter to a high performance race car.
