1988 BMW 635CSI

It is powered by a BMW M30 3.4L inline-6 motor which put out 208 horsepower to the rear wheels through a 5-speed manual transmission. This example is strong running and pulls strong down the road. This 635 belongs to the E24 generation of BMW cars. It features a low, sleek, and all-around beautiful body designed by Paul Bracq. The car is finished in Salmon Silver Metallic and sits a bit lower than stock on H&R lowering springs. Not all aftermarket wheels would look great on such a uniquely designed vehicle, but this example features BBS basketweave multi-piece wheels with gold, polished alloy, and red center caps. The wheels fit the vehicle perfectly and make for a sporty and aggressive stance.

Inside the car is instantly recognizable as a BMW. It was packed with all of the latest luxury and comfort features of the time. It features power seats, air conditioning, power steering, power disc brakes, and an aftermarket Alpine radio. The rear seats are larger than would be expected and could comfortably fit an adult, given they are not a giant.

BMW has always patted themselves on the back for creating what they believe are perfect driving machines. With the 635CSI they were not too far off. It has the power, handling characteristics, and style of a true GT sports car. Sitting in the drivers' seat makes one realize how open the interior actually is.
