The 911 is a record setter in many categories but the most impressive I feel is that it is the longest continuous produced model in the automotive history throughout the world. No other car has maintained a following and constant year in and out for its clients like the Porsche 911 has for over 58 years.

There is nothing else on the road like a Porsche Cabriolet. The looks sound and feel of a Porsche is very unique and special to the driver and passenger. These iconic 911's are always instantly recognizable and will put a smile on anyone's face behind the wheel. This 1991 Porsche Carrera 2 Cabriolet was sold new at Jack Ingram Motors in Montgomery AL on 10-25-1991 and remained in Alabama till at least 1997 backed up by service stamps in the maintenance log. Then it traveled up to greater Chicago area for several years before being a 25th Anniversary present to a gentleman from his wife that lived in Elkart IN from 2008 to just recently.

The previous owner kept just about every receipt and service record in a 3 ring binder. The car has some nice upgrades from what we could tell being; Porsche Performance Engineering DME chip, Alpine Stereo head unit, Viper alarm system, Bilstein coil over shocks to mimic a Turbo height, and K&N style air intake and filter. The car runs great and has a great sound to it along with much more performance. The convertible top has been retro fitted to be power to unlock or lock the screws into the windshield, then manual from there. Vehicle was optioned when new with; tiptronic transmission, catalytic convertor, comfort seat left, cruise control, additional amplifier, onboard computer, CD player. Vehicle retains factory manuals, proper option code sticker under hood and in manual, convertible boot cover, and added wind deflector.

This is a great car with lots of upside and lots of fun factor. The market remains strong on these cars and with the iconic Guards Red paint and classic beige leather interior you can't go wrong. Drive, enjoy and sell for a profit when you are done.
