1982 Chevrolet Corvette

GR Auto Gallery is pleased to offer this 1982 Chevrolet Corvette L-83 for your consideration. This is a wonderfully garage-kept example that shows just over 53k miles on the odometer. It is powered by a 350ci V8 motor with operational cross-fire injection. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a smooth shifting automatic transmission. This C3 Corvette has been meticulously maintained and kept in stock condition.

This Corvette wears the factory Red paint over the original red leather interior. This example was fully loaded with a plethora of factory options. Highlights include air conditioning, glass t-tops, Delco cassette radio, and plenty more. It rides on the factory wheels wrapped in Eagle GT Goodyear reproduction tires. With power steering, power disc brakes, and the powerful V8 motor this is a true American sports car that is ready to hit the road and drive.

1982 was the last year of the popular C3 “stingray” generation of Corvettes. Development was close to unveiling the C4, but then Chevy had to wait till the 1984 model year to roll it out. Some technology was already spilling out into these last C3's. 1982 saw the debut of the “Cross-Fire Injection” fuel delivery system. It utilized two throttle bodies combined with Chevrolet's computer control system. The transmission was also reworked for better acceleration and lower RPM's for cruising in the top gear. The last of the stingrays was the most technologically advanced. This is one of the nicest C3 examples we have had roll through our doors.
