1990 Jeep Grand Wagoneer

Introduced in 1962, the Jeep Wagoneer is widely credited for being a pioneer of the luxury SUV formula. While sharing traditional ladder frame pickup truck chassis, the Wagoneer had a sophisticated station wagon body design that was more carlike than any other 4x4 on the market. With lots of luxury and advanced features such as independent front suspension, power steering, air conditioning, and available automatic transmissions, the Wagoneer stood out from other manufactures offerings. In 1984, the Grand Wagoneer was introduced as a top of the line luxury model and was a strong seller despite its age. The truck continued in production all the way to 1991.

Wow, this is one exceptional 1990 Jeep Grand Wagoneer that has spent its entire ownership in California and Texas. No salt, to beat up the body or underside. We are loving this low mileage Grand Wagoneer in its VERY RARE Sand Metallic paint and Cord Leather interior. Vehicle was sold new out of Concord California in March of 1990 to Mr. Richard Usinger. Vehicle remained in his custody till around 1997 then sold to John Yates where he owned it in California and Tennessee. In 2013 it was sold to a couple in San Angelo TX until we recently acquired the SUV. This car comes with a HUGE stack of receipts from all the previous owners that highlight routine repairs, maintenance and service. The first owner even used the log book for the first few years documenting service, oil changes and maintenance up to 32k miles.

This car is in fantastic shape and represents the 2nd to last year of production of these iconic SUV's that were the top of the line option for any family. These vehicles were heavily optioned from the factory already but this also includes the following options per the original MSRP; Heavy Duty shocks ($42), Tow Package ($217), Rear Trac Locking Differential ($269), California Emissions ($266), Aux Auto Transmission Cooler ($67), and Spare Tire ($93). Of course this vehicle has the woodgrain appearance accents, power steering, power windows, full power seats with leather trim, tilt steering wheel, power rear window, cruise control, and many other fine features. The car recently received a new muffler and radiator in past year and the A/C was serviced with new compressor in 2013. Vehicle starts up with ease, drives very nicely and during our test drive all features were working that we tested minus the fog lights and rear wiper. Horn, gauges, power features and driving lights were functioning properly.

Vehicle is highly original other than the stereo and sunroof, but remains in excellent shape and was obviously cared for with an open checkbook and proper storage throughout its life.
