1970 Pontiac GTO

This 1970 Goat is fresh out of the barn and hasn't been loose in years. It was purchased by the current owners father in 1973 from Otway Autos in Michigan. The car remained in the family for the next 48 years and the current owner was the caretaker since 1976. The 1970 GTO convertible offered here was parked in a barn with a concrete floor in 1985 as life went on. According to the owner, the GTO retains its original engine. The rebuilt 400 v8 is paired to a 4 speed manual transmission and runs and shifts very well. The car has a new gas tank, exhaust, headers.

The car was originally Palomino Copper with a Sandalwood top. In the 80's the car was painted orange. The owner quickly realized that this made the car stand out even more to law enforcement and soon there after painted it black. This is a great candidate for restoration or just leave it alone and cruise it around. The car comes with a few receipts, dealer brochures and books. What you see is what you get here, yes there are a few bumps and bruises but this car has a story to tell and is begging to be cut loose. The dirt/grime/dust was left on the car from its hibernation in the barn.
