1986 Jeep CJ-7 Renegade

We love the Jeep brand and getting to see all of the different builds that people perform on this iconic CJ07 chassis. They are capable of so much and the possibilities are endless for anyone with some time, money and creativeness to explore.

Offered here is a stunning 1986 Jeep CJ-7 Renegade that represents the last year of production for this highly desirable vehicle. The car was sold new out of Idaho where it was towed behind a motorhome for about 60-70k miles that are showing on the odometer. Vehicle remained on the Northwest area until 2006 when it was transferred to the 3rd in Minnesota and remained till recently in a small car collection. This is a great example of the last year of the CJ-7 with no signs of rust and the undercarriage is in very nice shape and clean. The interior of the Jeep shows very well with clean vinyl seats, factory roll bar, center console, factory setup with gauges and lights. Exterior does show evidence of a nice respray at some point in the factory color and has clean lines and the Renegade stripe kit was replaced at that time and shows great and non-faded. Vehicle is equipped with a Best Top soft top with doors that can be removed in two pieces to still allow half doors if desired.

During the drive the car performed very solid and the heat, horn, wipers, lights, turn signals, and even cigarette lighter worked properly. Recent replacement parts include; radiator, solenoid, fuel pump, hoses, belts, valve cover, battery and master brake cylinder. 4x4 engaged properly and the transmission shifted smoothly and with plenty of power. Vehicle comes with clean CarFax, set of keys, factory owners manuals and gorgeous 15in chrome wheels.
