Powering this vehicle is a brilliant LT1 350 cubic inch V8 motor mated to a stout manual transmission. Boosting the power of this vehicle is an upgraded cam, lifters, injectors and custom tune. Other upgrades to the vehicle include front wheel power disc brakes, custom exhaust, dual electric fans, upgraded fuel system, power steering, digital dash and much much more. This example comes to us from a private collection out of Florida where it was lovingly maintained for the past few years. 1969 Chevelles were billed as "America's most popular mid-size car." They showed only minor changes for 1969, led by revised front-end styling. A single chrome bar connected quad headlights with a revised front grille, now cast in ABS plastic, and a slotted bumper held the parking lights. Taillight lenses were larger and more vertical, flowing into the quarter panels. Smaller side marker lighting bezels were phased in (shared with the Camaro and using the lens assembly as the previous year). Front vent windows began to fade away now that Astro Ventilation was sending outside air into several Chevelle models.
