1985 Jeep CJ-7 Renegade

The Jeep brand is simply awesome with its long heritage and countless variations that have worn the Jeep badge over the past 60+ years. They are built for purpose and the CJ7 is just a fun vehicle with its capabilities on or off the road. These beg to hit the trails and explore the mass country side of the world.

This 1985 Jeep CJ7 Renegade in the rare Dark Honey color is a classic. The vehicle was sold new out of Quality Mazda/Jeep on 2-20-85 down in Tuscaloosa AL where it remained in the same hands till April of 1992 and then one other sale in Sept of 1995. These previous 3 owners cared well for this sweet rig and all added a few features along their ownership and the previous owner in 2014 and 2019 spent over $9k in mechanics to make sure the car was ready for the next adventure. Vehicle is nicely optioned with the Renegade package and power steering, power brakes, front disc brakes, 4spd manual, 4.2L Inline 6cyl, A/C, and hard top. One of the previous owners also added the soft top, bikini top and rear cargo top. The options are endless on this Jeep on how you want to roll. In 2019 a 2.5in lift was also added along with new Bilsteen shocks.

Vehicle has a great stance with the beefy front chrome bumper, chrome side steps, 33in BF Goodrich tires that ride on 15in aluminum bead locker style wheels. Recent service includes; Howell EFI system, new radiator, 2 electric radiator fans, hoses, engine mounts, new distributor, air filter , water pump, alternator, clutch kit, fuel tank, fuel sending unit, battery, rear wheel cylinders, master cylinder, font rotors and pads, heater core, ignition control module, flushed transmission fluid, front & rear differentials, rear axle shaft bearings, and seals. All this was done within the past few thousand miles according to previous owner. A/C fan works but air is not cold.

Vehicle is clean and solid with some nice upgrades but still a Jeep! Vehicle comes with original owner's manuals, 2 sets of keys, order slip, original sale documents, original AL title, shop manual and several receipts.
