1977 Oldsmobile Toronado

GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this 1977 Oldsmobile Toronado Brougham Coupe for purchase. The 2nd generation Toronado morphed from a sports car in to the luxury car fray. The Toronado started in 1966 as Oldsmobile's full-size personal luxury car and was the first front-wheel drive American produced automobile since the Cord in 1937. It shared the E-body platform with the Cadillac Eldorado and the Buick Riviera, but they had quite different styling. The change to more luxury was a huge success as sales increased dramatically.

This well documented, single family owned, Toronado comes with the original broadcast sheet and original window sticker, various receipts and owner's manual. The light blue metallic paint presents well. The car also features a white vinyl top and vinyl protective cover on driver seat. This blue beauty wears brand new tires with small whitewalls. The added options that were ordered for this car include 6-way power adjustable driver seat, power door locks, soft-ray tinted windows, power trunk lid release, auxiliary front and rear floormats, bright door-edge guard moldings, electric rear window defogger, tempmatic air conditioning, litter container, rem-control outside passenger mirror, passenger side visor and vanity mirror, automatic cruise control, tilt away steering column, stow away spare tire and wheel and inflator, AM/FM push button radio, and more. The Toronado also a tow ball mounted on the rear bumper. The car sold brand new for $9,567.55 and was delivered at Albright Motor sales in Three Rivers Michigan. The car spent a portion of its life in the dry climate of Arizona and then Colorado then back to Michigan. This is a very clean example
